My friend & I ventured to France near the BE border, & Christophe’s place caught our eye with its cozy, historic charm. In person, everything exceeded our expectations. We stayed in the spacious and private attic room at the top of a stunning staircase. The experience was magical, from sunsets illuminating the vine-covered house to taking a bath with a vintage French radio under the skylight. We enjoyed relaxing in the private garden with Raccoon, the sweetest cat. Breakfasts were delightful, served on fine china, and we cherished our conversations with Christophe, the man behind this storybook home. Everything was within walking distance. The city is peaceful yet expansive. We explored the historic square and thrift stores, meeting friendly locals along the way. It was a beautiful experience I will always remember. One tip: English isn't widely spoken in this region, so knowing basic French phrases is helpful. We didn’t prepare, and it would have made our experience smoother. <3

Christophe was a lovely and friendly host, very flexible in times and made sure we had everything we needed. The breakfast was lovely and delicious every morning, and the classical music only added to the overall ambiance. Would love to come back sometime! Highly recommend :)

Notre séjour chez Christophe a été extrêmement agréable Le logement est confortable et bien situé, à proximité de la gare, dans un quartier calme. Il est facile de s y garer, d oublier la voiture pour partir en ville à pied. Le jardin clos, et sans vis à vis, est très appréciable. Racoon, son chat hyper zen, nous y tenait volontiers compagnie :) Christophe est un hôte généreux et respectueux, nous nous sommes rapidement sentis à l aise chez lui. Si nous sommes amenés à retourner dans les Ardennes, nous reviendrons avec plaisir ! David et Magali

We hebben een heel fijn verblijf gehad op deze mooie zolderverdieping. Met name de prachtige badkamer in oude stijl heeft ons hart gestolen. We hadden alle rust en ruimte en we voelden ons heel welkom. Iedere dag een simpel maar goed ontbijt met lokale producten, heerlijk! Charlesville-mézières was een leuk stadje, niet super groot maar wel sfeervol. We hebben vanuit daar uitstapjes gemaakt naar de prachtige natuur die de Ardennen te bieden heeft.
