We thoroughly enjoyed our 4-night stay at Donna’s apartment: a great location in Hayes Valley, super clean, comfortable, and well appointed with many nice details and thoughtful touches. Communications were easy and prompt, and the host was available for any questions if needed. The host provided a nice array of coffee, snacks, and drinks (as well as cooking spices and oils in the fully stocked kitchen, though we used it only for a couple of fruit/yoghurt breakfasts). Very nice bathroom adjacent to the bedroom, with soft towels, pleasant soaps and shampoos, and other toiletries. Comfortable bed and linens. Short walk to many good coffee shops, a boulangerie, restaurants, and cool boutique shops nearby. An easy walk to SF Jazz, symphony, etc. Also just a 10-minute walk (with elevation) to Alamo Square and the painted ladies Victorian houses. Just a super area to explore, with a lovely apartment to use as our base. We would happily return and highly recommend!

The location is fantastic- easy walking to most things as well as public transit- close to most good foodie neighborhoods. The place is less private than I'd expected- with the host's office next door and living space upstairs, we could hear footsteps including sometimes late at night and early morning, and the coffee situation was not my favorite- a kuerig with only a few pods, or a Chemex but the correct filters for that were not provided so I had to go buy a larger box than I'd need for a week stay. It would be nice to have a regular coffee pot, but I know this is a particular detail. Overall the place was really great for exploring the city and the host was easy to access for questions/issues.

Donna was very helpful throughout our engagement. The home is beautiful and close to a lot of fun things to do. Would recommend to others
