My extended stay in Muriel's apartment in Aix could not have been better. First of all, as is obvious in the photos, the place is really stunning. It is just as beautiful as the listing shows. Muriel's taste extends to every corner of her apartment. What may not be evident is the quality of all the furnishings. I have never slept in a bed so comfortable and so luxurious in my life. The bathroom provisions were also far better than I have even in my own home. Besides the elegant surroundings, Muriel has equipped the apartment with state-of-the-art appliances that made life inside both extremely convenient, efficient, and pleasurable. Besides my enthusiasm for the interior, the location of the apartment could not have been better. It is located on a very classy and very quiet street in the heart of Aix but with access to all kinds of shops and restaurants right around the corner. Along with the upscale furnishings in the apartment, Muriel provided all kinds of information about ways to enjoy the city of Aix, including sites to visit as well as recommendations for the best restaurants. Of course, an apartment isn't just a physical place. It is also inhabited by the spirit of the person who owns it. Besides giving me a wonderful home while in Aix, Muriel herself was frequently in touch with me to make sure I was enjoying my stay and to be available for any help I might need. In all of my communication with her, Muriel could not have been more gracious, kind, and helpful. I really loved the city of Aix and will always remember that Muriel's apartment was surely one of the main reasons my stay there was so special.

What a fantastic apartment! The location was absolutely perfect for our 5-day stay in Aix. There were bakeries, cheese shops, and little grocery stores just around the corner from our front door, so every morning we enjoyed fresh croissants from the local boulangerie. The apartment is also near Cours Mirabeau, La Rotande, the Granet Museum, and all the other major sites of the historic district. After walking around Aix all day, we were happy to return home to Muriell's apartment. When we first arrived, Muriell welcomed us warmly and shared many tips for things to do in Aix.The kitchen had everything we needed, the showers had lots of hot water and good water pressure, and the beds were very comfortable. The stairs are a little tricky to navigate with heavy suitcases but Quentin nicely helped carry our bags to the top floor. We enjoyed staying here and we highly recommend it to other travelers.
