Grace is an excellent host and the location of this property is very conveniently close to the beautiful High Park, public transport, shopping for all your neccessities and excellent restaurants and bars. The apartment is spacious, well equipped, has lots of storage space and the large windows overlooking the garden and park makes this property an absolute gem. Highly recommended!
Great location just a short walk from High Park, TTC and restaurants and shops. Cozy place great for an extended stay (we stayed for a month).
I stayed for a month at this airbnb ,and things were fine. It was a good and convenient space to start off in Toronto. The Good: Location was good (easy 7-min walk to subway line 2 - that connects to downtown). Neighborhood was quiet, safe and felt spacious. The space included a separate little office area for study/work. The host was easy to communicate with and response time was very quick. There is an amazing coffee shop and some food options within 6-min walking distance. Things to note: Noise does travel in this airbnb since there is an apt above and below this listing, even with best intentions. You can hear the street noise at night in the living room (not an issue if you are not a light sleeper). WiFi was spotty at times but this seems to be the internet provider’s fault (rather than the host’s issue).
As an Airbnb host myself, I believe that our rentals should reflect who we are. I believe that Grace had good intentions when she started this rental but it now shows neglect to the point of dilapidation. Her photos ARE NOT what this rental looks like now. I actually couldn’t even spend one night there because it was so dirty and dusty including a clipped toenail in the shower. After submitting 52 photos to Airbnb I was given a full refund. Thank you Airbnb. If you are considering this rental place ask Grace to prove that she has made the improvements and upgrades that this unit truly needs (including the rotted patio and steps).
