This cottage was perfect for our stay and exactly as described on the Airb'n'b website. Communication with Andy prior to our stay was clear and helpful, and checking in was straightforward. We were using the cottage as a base (for a fairly involved weekend activity), so were actually were only in the cottage for our arrival and then for sleep and breakfast. This was a pity in some ways, as it meant that we didn't fully get to enjoy the very peaceful, restful location. All the appliances in the cottage that we used - shower, toilets, heaters, toaster- worked perfectly (we didn't cook during our stay). Because we were hardly there, we had very little interaction with Andy or Roy, but they seemed very approachable and friendly, should we have needed help with anything. We were pleased to learn that the cottage was formerly the studio of the artist Anna Zinkeisen, which has led us to learn more about her and explore her work.
