Single queer person traveling with my dog and this was a wonderful place to stay for us. I would - will! - absolutely come again as we drive through Phoenix. I especially love how hand-made and functional the space is. Super fun to stay in a dwelling that has been so crafted and groovy. Also, the host was extra responsive and kind, which after 12 hours in the car made such a difference. Kanemi, thank you so much!

Kanemi’s place is one of a kind. Super comfy and unique…instructions are clear and all the amenities you’d want are there. It was special to meet the friendly pot-belly pig!

Unfortunately it was very rainy and cold making a muddy mess for my dogs. I had to walk them down the street..not her fault but she sad there was a fenced yard so it didn't work. It's definitely an interesting place but not my cup of tea. I don't EVER share bars of soap or a bathroom cup so that put me off. That needs to change. Mirrors were dirty as was front of microwave and the sink basket in kitchen had food in it and under it the drain part needed a good cleaning... coffee stains on counter..I'm a neat nick so I had to tidy. I put papers down all over her floor as I knew my dogs would track in mud. I would suggest an information sheet on how the TV works as I assume with 3 remotes, it might. I am not tech savvy and couldn't figure out. Younger people would know and would probably enjoy this place.. it is definitely different. I only met the host checking in but she was very friendly. The place was quiet though and I had a good rest.
