008028-LT-0048 Casa nelle Rose country home, owned by the Glorio family, nestles peacefully among the green of the olive-trees in an estate of 4,000 square metres in Diano San Pietro, in the hinterland of the Riviera The Casa nelle Rose 2 flat, situated on the edge of the village of Moltedo, is surrounded by olive-trees and lemon trees, as well as roses, in a marvellous environment with a view of the valley that conveys a very peaceful atmosphere. It is carefully furnished in modern style, paying special attention to the sunny colours of the rooms. It measures about 55 square metres and is designed to house 6 people at most. It consists of two bedrooms, a large kitchen-cum-living-room with a sofa-bed and a bathroom. Outside, there is a small garden where you can relax. Your four-legged friends are welcome!

nous avons passé une semaine excellente chez Roberta et John. tout était fait pour passer un bon moment, aménagement impeccable, logement très propre, hôtes sympathiques, et situation plus que parfaite : la campagne à la mer. A peine rentrés nous pensons déjà à y retourner. L'endroit est dépaysant, suffisamment éloigné du centre pour 'être au calme et en même temps seulement à 10minutes de la plage. Citoniers à profusion et oliviers ,soleil,calme: bien être assuré 👍😁

Die Unterkunft hat eine ruhige Lage mit wunderbarem Blick in die Natur und nur kurzer Fahrt in die Stadt und ans Meer. John und Roberta sind sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich und bei Bedarf unkompliziert zu kontaktieren. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Woche bei Roberta und John. Beide sind wirklich sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und haben uns bei all unseren Anliegen und Fragen weitergeholfen. Die Wohnung hatte alles was wir gebraucht haben und war sehr sauber. Wir und die Kinder haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Roberta & John are supper host. Lovely family, lovely place, and sparkling clean home. We had a fab time. We wanted BBQ at our villa door and they made it available. We had best time ever and all of us enjoyed the stay. The road to the villa is a bit tricky but we enjoyed it. It felt like off road fun. Must have a car to enjoy the place. We had fresh lemons on the tree. We are very thankful for making our holiday so relaxing and beautiful. Many thanks ❤️

Diano San Pietro was the first “pieve” (parish) in the Dianese area. The Parish church of the 18th century, by the architect Filippo Marvaldi, is surrounded by the remains of a stone wall erected as a defence against the Barbareschi pirates.
Reaching Diano San Pietro from Diano Marina, you will note a fortress-house, with guard holes upon the corners, now a seat of an olive mill: this is the image that represents the spirit of Liguria people: work and hospitality, after the initial suspiciousness. Going down to the valley, the remains of the San Siro Church are testimony of the presence of the men during medieval times.
Today, Diano S. Pietro has conquered fame in Britain, thanks to the writer Annie Hawes; her best seller “Extra Virgin”, set among the houses of this hamlet and its surroundings, talks about the intimacy and the atmosphere of living as Liguria people, in simplicity, among olive trees with genuine values.
Its inhabitants want to be remembered not only for their extra virgin olive oil made with olives from the appreciated variety “Taggiasca”, but also for the production of basil.
