The cabin was the perfect place to stay for our weekend in town for a wedding! I was just a little thrown off by the hair left in the shower by the last guest and towels that smelled like cigarette smoke 😕 the area was very nice! It was difficult finding the house because there were 2 different addresses listed and neither one brought us to the cabin. My husband used the aerial view picture on the listing to locate the property.

Robert and Ann were wonderful hosts and the lake was beautiful. Excellent boating and birding , Robert even let us collect eggs from the chicken coop. We had a lovely stay.

Cabin 1 is an excellent place to crash when you’re going to be spending time on the river, seeing a show in Bethel, or exploring all of the cute towns in Sullivan County. My husband and I have been renting a cabin from Bob for years now and we are always happy with our stay.

Robert place was great, nature lover and the environment was perfect! Had a bit of issue connecting to the wifi but then it all worked out with the help of the host!... will definitely rent again!
