Un château exceptionnel dans un cadre enchanteur. Les lieux sont sublimes et la piscine magnifique. Logement spacieux où l'on se sent tout de suite à l'aise. Seul petit bémol : il n'y avais pas de savon et rien pour allumer le feu dans la jolie cheminée (seulement de grosses bûches). Quelques dosettes de café ou de thé même si non annoncées dans la présentation auraient été fort appréciées pour nous réchauffer à notre arrivée. Une adresse d'exception. Nous ne manquerons pas de revenir!

We booked a 6 p. appartment but got the 5 p. appartment. We were with 6 p. but the appartment was equipped for 5.: not enough cutlery, not enough cups, not enough garden chairs. There was no explanation for this, we had to ask at the end of our stay. Apparently the 6p. appartment wasnt available anymore, which is strange because I specifically booked that one. It would have been sympathetic if the 40 euro difference between the two appartments was geven back to us, or a discount was given on something else. This was not the case. Staying in Chateau Villarlong for a week with 6 p. is not cheap. For this price one would expect everything to be really good. Unfortunately the beds are not. They are terrible. Wooden planks with a very thin old matrass on top. I had a backpain every morning I woke up. On the plus ofcourse the magnificent pool, the beautifull scenery, the excellent dinner we had and the castle. The owners are really a very friendly couple, I just wished that some things were handled better. I would recommend staying here because it is so beautifful, but I hope for future guests the beds will be better.
