You can’t find a better spot on the Royal Mile steps from Edinburgh Castle, Camera Obscura, Victoria St, and so much more! Perfect for a family of four. Our teen boys loved it. When they needed a rest, we’d drop them off and pop over to Jolly Judge’s for a quick pint! We would definitely recommend this apartment and would without a doubt stay here again. Thanks Paul (& Chris) for having us!

We loved our stay in this home! Unique opportunity to stay in a historic building steps away from the Royal Mile - the location really cannot be beat! The home was exactly as advertised, and though it was in the middle of the hustle and bustle, was quiet and cozy inside. The host provided a small folder with dining recommendations, and his pre-check in email communications were detailed and helpful. Overall, a really fantastic home. The only thing I'd note is that it is a 1st floor walk-up with a spiral stone staircase. This wasn't an issue for us, but if you (or another in your party) have moderate or severe mobility issues, this might be worth keeping in mind.

Paul's place was perfect for our stay. We were attending a conference at the EICC, which was an easy walk from the apartment. The apartment's location is fantastic, just a short walk from Edinburgh Castle and many shops and pubs. The street is bustling during the day yet the apartment feels surprisingly private and restful. The apartment itself is lovely, spacious, well-equipped and just as pictured. Highly recommended!
