Lovely peaceful remote location with lots of space to relax, eat, play games, etc. The house has amazing views into Wales (weather permitting!) and feels really remote, although it's a short drive from Devaunden village and a bit further to Chepstow. having use of the shepherds hut and the bot tub were a real bonus as we celebrated a birthday together. The bedrooms were immaculate, the kitchen well equipped, and the living space was large yet cosy. Helen was really responsive and helpful. Overall highly recommended.

This is a lovely house with breath-taking views of the Welsh hills. The kitchen is well stocked with all the equipment needed to cook for large groups. We really enjoyed staying here but the proximity of the neighbours were a problem for us and, with retrospect, we should have asked. The house is attached to two houses, and one of these houses overlooks the hot tub/garden area. While the house overlooking the hot tub had its curtains shut for the duration of the weekend, I think we would have preferred more privacy. We were also extremely concerned about noise, as a group in our 30s with no children, we keep later hours and enjoy music, and the guests in the other house said they could hear talking in their bedrooms. We really didn't want to disturb the adjoining houses and ruin their weekend so we were not able to relax as much as we would have liked. More details on the listing would be useful.

Helen was a great host, we stayed for my mum 60th birthday, it was such a wonderful weekend, getting my family together and celebrating in such a lovely house with beautiful views from the hot tub. We would definitely recommend, lovely and clean and every thing you need for basics. The host left us a lovely little card welcoming us and come yummy cakes. We would definitely come back again. Thank you for a great weekend away.
