Elisabetta was so hospitable and the tower was beautiful and unique. The town of Silvi was quaint and the beaches were beautiful. The tower was a great getaway from everything!

There is nothing comparable to The Tower. My expectations were greatly exceeded. Elisabetta, the host, is a very kind person. We felt extremely safe and welcomed.

We had a great time. Elisabetta and Sergio were very kind and helpful. They were there to greet us and explain how to work the locks, mosquito nets, the various trash bins, etc. It was fun to live surrounded by old and thick walls. The location is great, the view (from the house and form the roads in the vicinity) is magnificent. The place is carefully decorated with an interesting mix of antique furniture and artifacts, some modern (plastic) furniture pieces, and Sergio's own abstract paintings. We found a few books on Sergio's art on a shelf. Since there is no AC, because of the heat, we had to leave the windows open, and hence suffered a bit from the noise (nearby highway, elderly neighbor's incessant gasps through the day, and a few dogs baring in unisson). The kitchen is well equipped, but small (a bit cluttered with 4 or 5 trash bins and very little countertop space) But I imagine that most visitors will eat outside, so this should not be an issue. Some of the mattresses lack firmness. Wifi, bathrooms, showers, towels, and bed sheets were great! The place is just a few mns drive from the beach with lots of restaurants. Sergio recommended one, which we found to be the best of our trip, so far (on the beach, fresh fish baked for us, sunset...). We had a great time staying there and felt very safe leaving our belongings in the house.
