We loved our stay, it was such a lovely break from the hustle of city life. Sitting on the dock enjoying the sunset then ending the night with a fire was just what we needed to relax and unwind. Sharon was a wonderful host and we will most definitely be back again.
We love staying at Sharon's place. It is such a welcome respite from city life. Thanks for the delicious vegetables from your garden. Wow! Farm fresh, organic vegetables taste incredible. We can't wait until our next visit to Battersea.

Die Hütte liegt direkt am See. Diese hat einen eigenen Steg. Uns standen ein Kanu, ein Kajak und ein Sub zur Verfügung. Das Cottage ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man für einen Aufenthalt benötigt (Herd, Ofen, Kühlschrank mit Gefrierfach, Besteck, Teller usw.). Sie war in einem äußerst sauberen Zustand. Die nächste größere Stadt mit zahlreichen Einkaufsmöglichkeiten ist mit dem Auto in ca. 30 Minuten gut zu erreichen. Wir hatten einen rundum tollen Aufenthalt. Vielen Dank.
A wonderful place to stay. Very cozy cottages in a beautiful area, with lots to do (paddling, hiking, swimming, birdwatching, walking). We would love to visit again.

Hi! My husband Will and I own and operate an organic market garden and CSA farm outside of Kingston, Ontario in a small village called Battersea. Here, we raise kids and vegetables. The vegetables we sell to our CSA shares and at market. Also on our property, we have 3 cottages on Dog Lake, part of the Rideau Canal system. We love our lifestyle and our property and enjoy sharing it with others. When we travel, we like to experience how other people live. We seek out places that are sustainable and kind to the land and all of it's inhabitants. We hope that you share our vision and will choose to experience our way of life. Our farm is a little slice of heaven... come and enjoy a piece of it!
