Paolo is warm and thoughtful. The house is in good place and the environment is good. This is a good place to travel and relax.

Palio’s Palace was exactly what I was looking for, easy access, clean, washing machine came in handy after a long road trip and the loft bedroom upstairs was the perfect hideaway. It was also warm enough in February to take advantage of the spacious back yard for a little quiet meditation and relaxation. I am looking forward to coming back very soon.

Paolo is a very nice guy and was always reachable for any kind of questions and support. The apartment however had some issues, which each one alone wouldn't made a big difference, but in the sum it was a little bit annoying: - The toilet water smelled rotten at first and because of this the whole apartment on the first evening. The problem was gone after using the cleaning fluid and flushing the toilet several times. - The water kettle was full of chalk, which we removed ourself. The dishes, cutlery, pans and pots were often not really clean and had leftovers of the previous residents. - The illumination of the kitchennette was broken, however Paolo fixed the light very fast. - The bed was squeaking and didn't make a stable impression (you shouldn't book this apartment for your honeymoon ;-)), however the mattress was very good and pretty new. Overall this sounds much more negative than it really was, we still enjoyed our stay. :-) The apartment is brilliant if you like to enjoy the Navigli-district. It's located in a private courtyard in a silent side street, just one street away to the bars, etc. As it's in a private courtyard, you can sit in front of the apartment or in the garden and relax. The apartments kitchen is fully equipped, also oils, salt, coffee, teas and so on is already present. The washing machine works very well and is pretty new. Paolos has many tips for the district and Milano in general, which were also really helpful! In the end we can really recommend Paolo as host. As we are confident that Paolo takes care of the apartment issues, we still would rent it again.
