I did an internship in Stockholm and therefore stayed a good 6 months at Jennie's place. In a nutshell , I had a very good time at her place and would definitely recommand it! The place is a little bit outside of the city center (ca. 35min by public transport, which is not that much) and located in one of the finest areas in Stockholm. I loved to go running in the nearby forest (there is also an outdoor gym) or take a strawl next to the sea (ca. 200m away). The area is also very safe. My room was simple but clean and I was happy with it. In my opinion, the room is a very fair option (and especially good for those, who plan to stay a little longer in Stockholm). Jennie is a great and very lovely host. Since she works full time, has 3 lovely kids and a house to take care of, she is very busy. Nevertheless, Jennie always found time to answer my questions or fix a broken light bulb. I'm pretty sure, I will happen by there again :)

I was so lucky to stay at Jennie's place for the last five weeks on my first trip to Stockholm. Jennie was very helpful with everything from check-in to public transport solutions, basic Swedish and having parcels delivered. The amenities don't really leave anything to be desired and the atmosphere in the house was always warm and friendly (also because it's a family house, and sometimes there was music and kids laughing which I liked very much and it always happened at reasonable times too, so no early morning or late night noise). Jennie always responded super fast when I had any questions and my stay was great! Highly recommended.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Jennies, It had everything I needed and Jennie is great at making sure I did and was happy. The facilities are really good, shower, washing machine, dryer, fridge, kettle, toaster, two cooking hobs, sinks, toilet. I was supplied with a towel and bedding, and all plates, cups, pans, cutlery etc, the room is lovely and warm, and lots of storage space. I was working in stockholm centre so out early and in late, the kids "noise" didn't bother me and when I did here it was her talented son on piano which is great and makes a nice homely atmosphere. The train and bus are walking distance through a lovely safe area (you can see the stars clearly at night as well). And took about 35mins to get into T-Centralen. It is amazing value for money and I would 100% stay again.

If you are on a budget Jennie’s home is a great option! Although basic it is comfortable and has everything you need. The room was warm in the winter and clean. Jennie provided towels and the WiFi was speedy and reliable. You will have private access to your own bathroom and fully equipped kitchenette (burners, microwave, fridge, toaster, kettle, utensils and dishes, etc.) plus shared laundry room. I really appreciated that my living space (basement) was separated from the rest of the house, very private. However, please keep in mind that Jennie has children and so it will not be quiet, the walls/ceilings are very thin and you can hear everything. For example, I was woken up a few days at 6:30AM by her son playing instruments etc. Please keep this in mind if you are sensitive to noise. The bus stop is a 5min walk away but the 601 bus does not run very frequently, usually every 30min so plan well. The bus will take you to a grocery store in about 5min and to the closest TBana station in about 20min. The neighborhood is absolutely lovely and very safe. Jennie is very friendly, accommodating and helpful, a wonderful host!

This is a great place for students just arriving to Stockholm and needing a temporary place to live. The bus stop is about 5 mins walk away which will take you to the T bana that's 2 stops away from SU. The area is quiet and pretty but not much in terms of shops and entertainment so you'll need to take the bus or train out to the centre. You do have to be very independent and put in your own effort to clean up after yourself. Jennie is a very busy person with kids and a full time job so one should expect to live here like a long-term tenant would ie don't expect a service apartment. Jennie may be busy and have little time to attend to her guests but she's very accommodating. If there's anything extra you need you should ask and she's ready to help as much as possible. I enjoyed my stay here as I could come and go as I pleased and I had a lot of independence. If you're that kind of lodger then you'll like this place too.
