The Dovecote was ideal for a short stay for two couples to explore a little of the Cotswolds, including visiting Kelmscott Manor and Chedworth Roman Villa. The property was well equipped and comfortable and in a quiet location.

We had a lovely stay. The house was clean and tidy, tea and coffee was provided as well as a lovely folder with local suggestions. The house was very dog friendly but had no sighs that lots of dogs had stayed there. No hair or smells at all! We loved the location as it was in the middle of green pastures and farmlands with only a couple of neighbours. I am looking forward to staying again. John and Anita were very helpful with directions and we found the place with no problem at all!

Lovely overall, such a beautiful house and an amazing location. It's just a shame that there were some minor hiccups with communication from the owner. We found ourselves a bit short on essentials like toilet paper and dishwashing tablets for our four-day stay, and although we reached out to the owner for assistance, unfortunately, we didn't receive a response. Additionally, we noticed that the WiFi name had changed without prior notice, therefore we had no service for a day of the trip. Just some gentle feedback to consider for future guests.

A lovely stay in secure and scenic grounds. The rooms were warm and beautifully decorated. We especially liked the upper floor and bedrooms. Thank you for a memorable stay and we would love to return in the future.
