Teena was an excellent host and more than accommodating! Space is very spacious and warm for Michigan winters, very quiet and a restful stay
Very nice studio apartment. The photos are a very accurate depiction of the rental and you’ll be pleasantly surprised. Loads of blankets and pillows if you need extra comfort/warmth. The neighborhood is somewhat walkable depending on your needs (you may need to drive for some grocery stores, but restaurants and pharmacies are nearby). Be wary that you may hear from the people who live downstairs and that you may be heard from upstairs. Here’s a tip so that you do not look as dumb as I did during my trip. In the shower, there is a pointed knob to turn on the water. If you move the pointed end of the knob to “OFF,” the water will turn off. However, if you move the pointed end of the knob to the “H” sign (towards the left), you will get cold water, and if you move the pointed end of the knob to the “C” sign (towards the right), you’ll get hot water. It’s a minor mistake but something to look out for so you don’t have to make any unnecessary calls on your trip.
Easy going and laid back. Love to travel and experience new things in life. Enjoy meeting new people and connecting them to all the great things in Detroit. It's a very unique place and has many gems to offer. Detroit is big enough to fit San Francisco, Manhattan and Boston within the city limits. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do! Looking forward to a great experience.
