The neighborhood is in the heart of Porto, quiet during the night, very lively during the day. You don't need any kind of transports to see the main Porto attractions. Also, BOLHÃO METRO STATION is almost next to the apartments main door. You can go everywhere from there, namely to the AIRPORT.
You can go to DOURO RIVER walking and see the famous bridge, take a drink there or go to some restaurant in what we called "RIBEIRA" and "CUBO" PLAZA. RIBEIRA is usually very lively Saturday's and Sunday's. Night spots are now everywhere in Porto: the most famous spot is GALERIAS PARIS STREET. But now you have a lot of other PLAZAS like POVEIROS PLAZA, CARLOS ALBERTO PLAZA, LEÕES/PIOLHO PLAZA where you can find many distractions. Also the theaters like RIVOLI, SÃO JOÃO, SERRALVES and music hall, coffee and pub CASA da MÚSICA are near and have a lot to offer and information about ARTS in general. You can also go to the beach next to city center famous and big green park stopping in MATOSINHOS SUL METRO STATION. If you rent a bike you can go from MATOSINHOS BEACH to DOURO RIVER. It's a very pleasant walk or ride! Have fun!

BOLHÃO METRO STATION links you from the apartments to the airport. You have also LA VIE SHOPPING PARKING, at the back of the apartment building where you can leave your car with a discount by showing your booking ticket at JOÃO's apartment. You can also park in street during the night because you don't have to pay anything. You only pay from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Also you have buses and cabs/taxis in ALIADOS in front of Mc Donald's or in BOLHÃO MARKET: ALEXANDRE BRAGA STREET (near BOLHÃO METRO STATION).
