Wir hatten eine wunderbare Woche in der Villa Toscana! Es hat eine tolle Lage zwischen Pinien, mit Parkplatz, ein privates Grundstück auf dem wir unseren Hund freilaufen lassen konnten. Der herrliche (und sehr gepflegte) Pool hat uns besonders Freude gemacht. Alle Fenster waren mit hilfreichen Mückennetzen versehen. Man kann zu Fuss (oder mit dem Auto) nach Sa Tuna oder Begur. In der Küche ist alles vorhanden, was man so in den Ferien braucht. Laura war sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und immer gut erreichbar. Sie hat uns gute Tipps gegeben. Im Haus liegt eine Mappe mit vielen hilfreichen Infos - Dankeschön! Da das Haus schon älter ist, hat aber der Zahn der Zeit genagt und es ist nicht mehr alles so richtig top: Vormittäglicher Abwassergeruch, die muffigen Kleider- & Küchenschränke, oder die unhygienisch wirkende Küchenarbeitsplatte zeigen es. Es ist sauber, aber eher oberflächlich - eine ausgiebige Grundreinigung täte not (Schimmel in den Fliesenfugen).

This is my favourite part of the world for vacation. I have brought my four daughters to Catalonia since they were very small and now we bring their children here as well. Begur is always on our list to visit. This year we were a small group so Laura's house was ideal for 2 adults and 2 children. Very close to the beautiful Sa Tuna and Aigufreda beaches. Communications were excellent from Laura

Great little house well placed for exploring Begur, Sa Tuna, Sa Riera etc. we love this area, it was our second time visiting the Costa Brava. There was plenty of space for a family of four and we loved the pool, BBQ and seating areas. As previous reviews mention yes you can hear a road but all the villas in this area sit on the twisty roads so it’s to be expected and we barely noticed it. You can walk down to Sa Tuna but it’s a VERY steep walk back, however wherever you go in the local area there are steps and steep inclines. We drove everywhere. Sa Tuna is pretty but Sa Riera (8 min drive) was our favourite beach, really good for snorkelling and has more to offer, restaurants, shops etc. Begur is great for eating out and walking around shady historical streets. The house doesn’t have AC so it was sticky at night but there are fans available which worked fine. Highly recommend this house as a base for visiting the local beaches and towns. Laura provided lots of recommendations.

Good host. Didn’t meet but communicated well and helpful. Pool clean and lovely to cool off in extreme heat/children enjoyed this. On main road to Sa Tuna. Constant traffic from 6.30am until around midnight (2am on Saturday night). This was a big disappointment and spoiled the stay for us - but to be fair I didn’t ask the question when booking. It may not bother others but think folk should know. The best time to enjoy relative peace is the early afternoon when there is much less traffic. Parking is tricky - shared space at top of drive but not really enough room if neighbours have 2 cars. We parked on drive which is steep and narrow and best to reverse down - not for all! There is a sea view but only form seating at back of garden next to unappealing dry space - we didn’t use. Main outdoor space next to house and pool is nice and gets sun. No sea view here - blocked by ugly back end of another building. Property needs some redecorating. Small kitchen and grotty surface. Shower leaks.
