Little chilli was truly home away from home! It's a beautiful property that is away from the hustle bustle of the city. Our host, Col Thakur and his family were very welcoming. We especially loved interacting with them and hearing stories of Col Thakur's time in the Indian Army. The room was very comfortable and clean. The sunset was a beautiful view from our room. I would recommend Little Chilli to anyone who is looking to have a relaxed holiday in the hills. I would definitely go back the next time I am in Shimla

Little Chilli is a small paradise home where you are guaranteed amazing hospitality. There are just so many great things to say about this place. Our hosts were extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating. They suggested not-to-miss off the beaten path trails close to Little Chilli. Since this place is a about 15km from Simla city, our hosts were kind enough to book us a cab to spend the day on the famous Mall Road. The rooms were clean and had amazing views, especially in the morning and around sunset. Drinking tea in the balcony with a book in hand was my favorite thing to do during our time there. They also have a cute little dog who is extremely pretty and playful. I miss her and miss their home! I would definitely stay here again and whole-heartedly recommend it to everyone!

It is indeed a "home away from home" as every word of this phrase truly means in Little Chilli. The location could not be better as it's a bit away from the crowded city of Shimla but not too far, takes hardly half an hour. It's also very close to the Shimla airport. Through the window or balcony or standing at the nearby terrace, the guests can enjoy a scenic view of the hills and valleys around. The owner is such a down-to-earth person and conversation with him was a great pleasure at the dinner table or at breakfast. Regarding dinner and breakfast, we never had such high-quality hygienic food at such nominal prices at the so called hotels with some stars. Rooms are so nicely designed, decorated, and perfected with everything a person needs. The entire house itself has an aesthetic touch which made me wonder if these were done by some interior decorator. But the aesthetic designs of the rooms, common area, play area, and dining hall is actually a brainchild of the owner. The walls in and outside rooms are beatified with the paintings done by the wife of the owner. Also there are wood-crafted beautiful things placed at the dining area. This place is something beyond business; as if the owner and his family takes an immense pleasure by hosting guests in this wonderful environment.

The location was very beautiful and peaceful.. The rooms were tidy and spacious with all the amenities needed.. The food was so delicious, and I specially liked the bunker style dining area.. The hospitality by Colonel Thakur and Mrs. Thakur was very warm and welcoming, feels like home away from home. A perfect getaway in Shimla..

Homely in the best sense. Extremely quiet location, the breathtaking view, the we'll furnished rooms, the delicious food, the warm hospitality... everything was just so good! Lost for words to describe how wonderful the stay was!
