We absolutely loved our stay. The house is charming, cozy with plenty of space, clean, bright and sunny kitchen, gorgeous views, well decorated, with a very homey feeling. We were in the area for a wedding, and Carol's house was a perfect meeting point for family nearby (who all have cats and my kids are allergic so we needed a cat free meeting space between festivities). The bedroom setup was ideal for us - the two main bedrooms are close together so my older sons (age 7) felt totally comfortable sleeping in one alone. The "den" is set up with a bed and couch which my youngest son (5.5) could have slept in fine, except he was nervous from being in a new space so ended up in the master with me and my husband. The beds are super comfy and there is a king in the master so we had plenty of space and all slept great. Carol is a fantastic host, and it was easy to coordinate with her. When we got stuck in traffic and expected to arrive late at night, she put us at ease, telling us to drive safe. We stayed in early November and the weather had just turned cold, so it felt like the heat hadn't fully turned on the first night of our stay but the second night it was definitely 100 percent operational and we were completely comfortable. Carol also invited my kids out to help with a fire outside on our last day and they really enjoyed themselves. We so loved our stay and will definitely be back!!

Had a great time celebrating my daughter's birthday with a few special friends. We were prepared for some rainy weather, but Carol had lots of board games to keep them occupied!! I almost wish it was a brisk autumn day so I could have curled up in front of the fireplace with a book and enjoyed the beautiful view with some hot cider! Tons of character and charm everywhere you look. You can tell this home is cared for with love. Thank you for sharing it with us!

Extremely quite and relaxing old house with a beautiful private pool, great for families with kids. The kitchen was great and fully equipped, and it has coffee machine and all of its supplies available. Car can be parked in front of the house.
