Fransje was incredibly helpful before and during our stay. The house and its location were perfect for our party of 4 ladies. The house was very well equipped, very cosy and spacious. The garden was a lovely feature too and we swam from the bottom of the garden, very refreshing and good for the soul! We do hope to visit again, with big thanks to Fransje who could not have been more helpful to us all. The bikes were an added bonus although only one of us ventured off on one. There are many birds in the area and we enjoyed walking through the park opposite, listening and looking for them. The Coazy cafe over there was a wonderful rendezvous point for us. We had a lovely meal at Het Warpen in Warmond and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Public transport is easily accessed and we travelled to Leiden, Den Haag, Scheveningen and Haarlem. The Mauritshuis gallery in den Haag was wonderful. We so enjoyed our stay and hope to be back, thank you for everything Fransje!

Amazing place to stay to visit the Tulips. Such a lovely home and a real privilege to be able to stay here. You won’t be disappointed. Lovely local restaurants and cosy shops a few minutes walk. Everything was superb. 100% would stay again.

An absolutely beautiful, clean and comfortable home backing onto the water with a nice kitchen perfect for having breakfast with my family and three bathrooms. The two upstairs bedrooms are almost like small apartments with their own bathrooms and seating areas. Fransje was extremely friendly and helpful and always responded in good time. I can highly recommend Fransje's listing. Close to a lot of places to visit and things to do, but out of the way enough to enjoy a nice peaceful morning in the garden with the ducks and the windmills. There is parking for a small car at the house, or there are a couple of car parks a short walk away and I had no worries about leaving my car there. There is also a supermarket, bakery, and a few bars/restaurants a very short walk away too - I can recommend Grand-Cafe de Oude School.

Charming old house and friendly, responsive and welcoming host complete this authentic Dutch experience. The house dates from the 1600's, and has been expanded in stages since that time. Steep staircases and uneven levels would make it challenging for mobility impaired. Working fireplace, beautiful waterfront view and dock were even better than in the photos. The town of Warmond is very peaceful, walking distance to bakery, groceries, and several restaurants. If you have a SMALL car it could park in the house driveway, otherwise park a short walk away for free. Amsterdam was a 45 minute train ride away, starting at Sassenheim station near Warmond.
