If you are looking for a peaceful, very French rural idyll but with the luxury of modern facilities, then La Grange is perfect for you. A beautiful old building but fitted with a modern working kitchen and spacious, well appointed bedrooms, La Grange was a great place to relax and enjoy our holiday. The pool is wonderful and there are plenty of sunbeds to lounge on. The peach tree in the orchard provided juicy fruit to snack on too. The serene beauty of the French countryside around us was a daily panacea to our busy lives back home. There are plenty of things to do/visit nearby including Kayaking on the Charente (highly recommend), visiting the picturesque villages around (Nanteuil-en-Vallee, Verteuill-sur-Charente), and walking through the fields of sunflowers. Mike was an attentive and helpful host who, though not located locally, has a team of people to help with any problems or needs you may have. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back.

Séjour très agréable. La maison était très propre, les équipements dehors en parfait état et très nombreux.Tout était parfait. Très bonne communication. Sally a été formidable ! Des jeux de société à disposition dans la maison ont été très appréciés. Un grand merci pour ce séjour.

la maison de Mike est conforme au descriptif et nous y avons passé un séjour formidable. Mike et son intendante Sally sont très attentifs et reactifs.

A lovely place in an excellent location. Pretty remote but still only 10' drive to the nearest town, a great balance. Mike and Sally were fantastic hosts!
