We had a wonderful three night stay. Quiet, swimming, relaxing, lovely meals, beautiful location. I felt that this break was a great way to unwind, recharge and just enjoy the natural beauty. I also understand that this place may not be for everyone so I have tried to capture what is great and what some (not us ) could find concerning. Positives Location is serene The caretakers are a joy and cook wonderful local meals. Very friendly Water is clean and clear. Basically the beach is private Possible concerns There are insects that bite so cover up with spray It can be hot and as there is no aircon, could be a problem. The generator cuts off at 0600. When adding the transport and caretaking and diesel costs to the accommodation, the total is around USD 400 per night. Take some reading materials (the only available books were religious which not all want to look at). As I said, I have had a superb time, but we are all different so what I like, others may not.

We left TLT early due it not being as advertised- there are children and pets on the property, which took away from the advertised romantic escape for just the two of us (+ the caretakers). Also the cooling fans were not operational (except at night). We stayed in the summer and the temperature of the cottage was unbearable. Our only means for cooling off during the day was to be in the water. I am giving 3 stars for the following: - Delicious food - Beautiful scenery - The host was responsive and caretakers + grounds support staff were very kind. They made our last night there special. - Victor is a good driver. Warning: the drive is bumpy. Bring motion sickness meds. Our experience cost us $280 USD/night + an additional $442 USD for meals, diesel, and transportation on and off the property. Overall, we would not choose to have this experience again and caution others to consider how much you’re willing to spend and endure to beach glamp in the Philippines.

It was an overall amazing experience we had at this accommodation! Everything was well organized, the location is a dream come true and we very much had the most relaxing days on our journey through Palawan there. Our thanks to the staff, it was a pleasure to stay!

The pictures and description don’t do this magical place justice. The cottage has a beautiful view of the forest and the ocean. The caretakers, Jen and Jun, are incredibly welcoming and phenomenal chefs. And charity was incredibly nice and responsive. Also, we didn’t see any other tourists for the entire trip. This is place is truly off the beaten path and one of a kind. Can’t recommend highly enough.
