My family’s stay at Isle la motte was absolutely magical! We love everything about it: the house was great, just as described. The lake was gorgeous and clear. We paddleboated and kayaked and swam, rose bikes, explored the island, went on long walks, and of course went to hike and explore surrounding islands and mainland. Jim - the owner - lives next door and is immensely helpful with everything. He and his wife are elderly so please take that into account. He has fabulous stories though - mg kids and I loved hearing them! If life allows, we will definitely be back!

Second stay at Willow Point. Sandy beach great for kids although limited this year due to high lake levels. Kitchen well stocked with all tools needed to cook full meals. Like most rentals, knives were dull though. Overall, lovely home with everything you need- linens, towels, beach towels, beach chairs, laundry, amazing grill, fire pit, outdoor seating, lakeside shower to rinse sand, 2 adult bikes/helmets, 2 kayaks. Host, Jim, lives next door and very accommodating & friendly. We are two families with 3 kids under five so would have loved more kid oriented games/toys but we brought all that with us since we knew from last year. We did find an awesome playground on North Hero at the elementary school- highly recommend. This year went to the nature preserve and quarry on island which was fun for kids to spot wildlife and fossils. Although house on other side of road from lake, it is such a quiet island we never worried about kids crossing back and forth. Recommend Willow Point!

Our stay at Willow Point was enjoyable. The house was very clean and was equipped with everything you could possibly need. Jim was very helpful and an excellent host. We hope to be back very soon!

A lovely home with beautiful views. The interior was toasty warm during our autumn stay and was a great setup for our two family trip with multiple little ones. The owner, Jim, lives next door and checks in often. The island and neighboring area had lots of great activities including an apple orchard, brewery, and unique roadside shops/stands.
