My girlfriend and I booked Johanna's place for a month and absolutely loved it. The house has magnificent views and has everything you need for a quiet and peaceful stay. We enjoyed several amazing sunsets from the garden and were also very lucky to see howler monkeys in the trees in the garden. The sound of the dawn chorus, the wonderful wildlife on your doorstep, the most delicious fruits from all the trees in the garden (papayas, mangos, coconuts, guavas and lemons!) really made this a memorable stay for us. Given that the beach was a 10 minute drive from the house, we enjoyed morning walks on the beach as well as afternoons swimming in the sea under the sun. Overall, I would highly recommend to anyone looking to switch off and enjoy a tranquil stay within nature.

Johanna was very responsable and always answered when I had questions. She speaks, French, English and spanish. She suggested places to go that were close by. The house is perfect if you need a quiet place, you like nature and don’t mind missing electricity regularly. The garden offers fruits during some period of the years. When there is no electricity you have no water but you can cook. Since the house is not completely closed there is insects like ants and scorpion that comes in, if you don’t mind that, it is certainly a very nice place to relax and enjoy the view that offer the back yard balcony. Overall it was a nice experience. Thanks Johanna.

When we arrived, our host Johanna was waiting for us to show us everything about the house. You can expect a renovated panameñian house house with a great ocean view. Some amenitys like a bathtub (amazing ocean view), outdoor shower, washingmachine and dryer plus warm water added. The owners rebuilt the house with love and it has an amazing garden with a composting eco-system and plants like bananas, moringas, mangos and much more! If you like to live close to nature, inclusive visits from different animals, its the perfect place to explore! Distances by car: Venao 15min Tonosi 25min Pedasi 40min

Spectacular view of Isla Canas, ocean and mountains. Surrounded by nature. Neighbors are howler monkeys, flocks of parakeets, and cattle that graze on the farmland that surrounds the property. Picking fresh fruit from papaya, mango and coconut trees. Staying here has been an incredible experience! Place is especially for those that love the outdoors and camping. The temperature is optimal -- much cooler than the city or even the beach and all you need is a fan to get by. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking. Comfortable living space with rockers, sofa, patio chairs and lounge chairs for hanging out and enjoying the views. Hosts are very responsive and friendly- they speak English, Spanish and French. Having a vehicle makes it easy to explore places like Playa Venao, Pedasi, & Cambutal. We had considered other options in the area but this is a special place. Don't hesitate to experience this unique property!
