We had a wonderful stay here last week. Beautiful farm house, swimming pool and outside seating areas. Games room was well used in the heat of the day. Bang in themiddle of San quirico/Montalcino and torre means a hire car is essential which we had so no issue. Some fantastic local food and also produce in the shops to cook on the beautiful bbq. All rooms are vast and comfy beds. Two separate lounge areas and kitchens too. We had some issues with water which Caterina sought to quickly resolve so tha k you. We had a wonderful week at your farmhouse.

We loved the pool area and sunsets during our month long stay. The house is secluded at the top of a hill with expansive views through vineyards and over distant mountains. There is plenty of space in each guest room and each room had a large wardrobe and its own bathroom. The air conditioners worked well to keep us cool when needed. There are many seating options indoors and outdoors to enjoy a coffee or a meal together in the sunshine or the shade. The lights of Montalcino sparkle in the distance and it took about 15-20 min driving to reach the town. San Quirico d’orcia took slightly less time to reach. We enjoyed exploring the medieval towns and hiking trails in the region, especially Pienza, which we visited frequently. We experienced some bad weather and power outages and Caterina was very responsive and helpful with any issues. She made sure everything was running properly. She was also available weekly to bring clean sheets and towels which we really appreciated. The house is in a beautiful location. My only recommendation to future guests is to ensure that any cars or bikes you are using to reach the property are equipped with tires that can ride on bumpy gravel, as there is a 2.7km gravel road to access the house.

Caterina’s villa is clean, well stocked and beautiful. The pool area is clean and enjoyed by our family. There are many table/chairs area outside in the shade to gather and relax. Inside table/chairs are perfect for meal time. Location is perfect for visiting nearby villages.

il podere di Caterina ha veramente molti vantaggi, che ci hanno consentito di passare una fantastica vacanza tra amici. gli spazi sono davvero grandi e ciascuna famiglia ha avuto a disposizione una stanza con bagno, oltre a spaziose zone comuni, due cucine (entrambe ben attrezzate), due sale da pranzo, un grande salotto e una sala giochi. anche il bbq esterno ci è stato utile per una grigliata a base di fiorentina e spiedini! nonostante fossimo davvero molti (14 adulti e 10 bambini, di cui 8 nati nel 2017...) gli spazi a disposizione ci hanno consentito di mantenere una buona privacy tra le famiglie (i muri tra le stanze sono molto spessi e quindi assicurano il silenzio nelle camere) e allo stesso tempo ci hanno dato modo di condividere molti momenti comuni soprattutto durante i pasti. anche la posizione è centralissima per visitare le località più belle della val d'orcia e non solo. torneremo di sicruo nella bella stagione anche per godere maggiormente degli spazi esterni e della piscina!
