Carol and I had a great time at Robolls croft. The property had everything you need for a pleasant stay. Spacious, comfortable with great views of the countryside and wildlife. Close to local amenities and very quiet. Just what we needed. Thanks again Mairi and Jan x

What a wonderful location, with stunning views, and surrounded by wildlife. We spent 8 days here, using Ballygrant as a base to explore Islay (and Jura) by bike, and couldn't have been happier with the location and facilities. The house is warm and inviting (and very comfortable bed!), with well equipped kitchen and good sized rooms. The views are amazing in all directions!

We had a delightful stay at Robolls Croft in excellent weather. The house was very well equipped, spacious and comfortable with fantastic views and good parking. We had one minor issue which Mairi was able to sort quickly for us.

A home away from home in Islay. This was our first time visiting the island and local distilleries, and really enjoyed our time there, in many ways thanks to Mairi and Jan always replying to our requests so we could plan our visit from abroad. The house is set on a quiet hill on the road from Port Askaig towards Bridgent, and a short walking distance to the Ballygrant Inn, which is a good option for dinner and an extensive whisky bar. It is a lovely house with a fully stocked kitchen and other amenities for any type of stay, and the view of sunrise from the living room towards the Paps of Jura is definitely something to look forward to in the morning. Would definitely recommend for families or a big group of friends that want to visit this beautiful region.
