Was a lovely first family holiday for us, we got exactly what we paid for. The nearby village was lively and only a half hour drive from Chester zoo and the aquarium. We would definitely stay here again.

The cottage was very spacious with all the facilities we wanted. The location was very peaceful and lovely and quiet for the whole family. We felt very much at home and thoroughly loved our trip.

The property is in a lovely secluded location surrounded by fields. It was extremely peaceful and the nights were wonderfully dark - if we'd had better weather I'm sure stargazing would have been amazing! Caroline greeted us when we arrived and was extremely friendly and helpful - she showed us where to park and adjusted the heating for us. The open plan living/dining room is comfortable and cozy and we prepared our own meal to eat in on the first night. The decor upstairs is a bit tired but comfortable enough! As an avid cook I was a little disappointed by the equipment in the kitchen but I understand that many people only eat out so don't intend to do much in the way of cooking during their stay.
