I was looking for somewhere peaceful to relax and found it. Location was private and in the middle of nature but definitely not ruffing it. Inside was cozy, had amazing natural light and everything needed for a relaxing stay. Many outdoor spaces to enjoy the beautiful landscape, listen to the birds and enjoy the sun. Maria was very friendly and responded quickly to any question I had. Would definitely stay here again.

thank you Maria for hosting us in our beloved topanga Canyon. It's a divine little getaway dwelling. All amenities thoughtfully provided. Comfy bed, nice linens and ample towels. The chickens and croaking frogs extra special treat. Easy access to the Valley while access to PCH is on hiatus due to recent slides.Thank you again. We'll be back!

Maria's place is beautiful, tastefully decorated, and extremely well equipped. You'll wake up to bird songs, sounds of gentle stream, and cicadas singing at night. So much peace and stillness except for the bees and some wild bunnies rushing through bushes :) Maria is a kind host and informed me in advance about possible difficulties staying there without a car. Nonetheless, I stayed for 5 nights and it was no problem to get a ride by regular providers. You just have to plan/book a little bit in advance (I went for surfing lessons in Malibu twice, and one time to downtown LA). There are so many hiking trails just a short walk away. If you don't mind walking like me, it took 40-45 min from the house to town, where there are restaurants, yoga studio, a really nice gourmet supermarket, etc. I'd definitely love to go back one day.
