BatTrang was a lovely adventure and a great place to relax. Tien Minh's heritage stay was tucked right in the Ceramic old town which was a lovely local experience! Between relaxing in the hammock, enjoying some local food & cycling around on two push bikes which Tien kindly lent us we lad a lovely short stay.

The home was a beautiful as the pictures describe. The area is a historical ceramics village, with lots to see, and a calm and peaceful environment outside of the city. Minh is super responsive and really friendly, and this was for sure one of my favourite traveling experiences yet! I have Minh and his terrific hospitality to thank for that. It’s a taxi ride from the main city and doesn’t have air con, so just know that if it’s a big concern for you. We didn’t require any aircon, fan was fine and any taxi ride was easily arranged with Minhs help. Truly a beautiful village, and they have my thanks

Tien was just super helpful from the start. He’s not just a host, he’s also someone you can chat with about history & culture. The house yes, is old and rich in culture passed on by his family, but what made my stay better was that Tien could explain the heritage. He was just superb. Definitely planning Vietnam for another time, & I’ll pop by Tien’s again. Just a note to future people to book: don’t come with the expectation to have an air con or hotel set up. What makes this place so great is that it’s clean, has most of the amenities (anything else Tien will help you), and that he’s kept this 100 year old house in such top condition.
