Alfonso was a really nice host. He was easy to communicate with and welcomed us right when we arrived. He also helped us with a restaurant suggestion and even reservation and printed some tickets for us that we had bought without noticing they needed to be printed. The apartment was overall quite nice. However, the beds were really hard and for our trip a good night's sleep was simply the most essential thing. That's the main point for our low overall rating. We also got a nice breakfast but had to pay for it separately. As we paid $600 for the night (for 3 people) that breakfast really could have been included. The apartment is in walking distance to the inner city and the archeological park. But the area wasn't very nice. Off-street parking behind a gate was available which felt good considering how the area looked.

You will never find two hosts more willing to help you get around, recommend restaurants and sightseeing attractions. When we could not get a taxi, Alfonso was there to pick us up and take us back to the Airbnb. Alfonso also drove us to Hertz to pick up our car for the next part of our journey. Sonia provided unexpected daily housekeeping which was wonderful to come home to after a long touristy day. Sonia is a great chef and I suggest you try some of her meals that she offers for a very low cost. I strongly recommend Alfonso's and Sonia's Airbnb in Pompei.

Alfonso en Sonia zijn zeer vriendelijk. Sonia maakt een geweldig.ontbijt op de kamer. Alfonso heeft geholpen toen onze dochter een oorontsteking had. Gelukkig ging de oorontsteking over en was doktersbezoek uiteindelijk niet meer nodig. Alfonso heeft ons naar het vliegveld gebracht wat heel prettig was. Gedurende ons bezoek waren er wegwerkzaamheden waardoor er wat geluidoverlast was. De lucht buiten in de ochtend vond ik niet zo prettig, gelukkig hadden we goede airco waardoor we de ramen gesloten konden houden. nog heel veel dank Alfonso en Sonia!

Alfonso and Sonia worked tirelessly to make sure we were comfortable! They responded quickly to messages, Alfonso took us wherever we needed to go, the bedding smelled clean, even the blankets, and the pool was a great place for our kids to play at the end of a long hot day! They were wonderful hosts!

Abbiamo alloggiato da Alfonso e Sonia per celebrare l’addio al nubilato di mia sorella e non avrei potuto chiedere di meglio. Sono due persone stupende, disponibili e accoglienti, ci hanno fatto sentire veramente a casa. La villa è curata in ogni minimo dettaglio dal giardino esterno agli arredamenti degli interni. Esperienza veramente consigliata. 10/10
