The location of the room is very convenient if you want to stay in Santo Antonio, Principe’s capital. However the listing mentioned a tv, fridge and kitchen where guests can cook. None of this seemed to be present. The room is also right next to a restaurant which is noisy until late evening, not ideal for light sleepers as you can join the restaurant patrons’ conversations from your bed. Due to these reasons we decided to change our reservation and check out on the second day instead of staying four nights. According to Figueirido’s own cancellation policy this was possible provided we paid for the second night we wouldn’t stay which we were fine with but then get refunded the last two nights. When we left everything seemed to be alright, but then Figueirido would wait until the end of the four nights and decline. He would also not respond to any messages where we asked to why he was not accepting his own cancellation policy. If he does not want people to use the cancellation policy he should amend this. We are extremely disappointed with how this experience turned out and we wish we could have been given an answer at least as to why the host would not respect his own policy.

Ótima experiência. Residencial humilde mas bastante asseada, quarto com serviço de limpeza diário. Bom pequeno-almoço no restaurante ao lado da residencial, com fruta, pão, ovos e café. Simpatia extrema do Sr. Rito e seus funcionários. Localização bastante central, longe das praias mas no centro da cidade com acesso a ótimos restaurantes. Excelente relação qualidade-preço.

Perfect spot to stay on the island. We were lucky enough to get an early check in straight after our flight landed. Rito speak perfect English and is a wealth of knowledge about what the island has to offer. Ten out of ten.

Le logement est exactement comme il est décrit dans l'annonce. Propre, fonctionnel, très bien placé. Le personnel est adorable. Je recommande à 1000%.
