We stayed at Clover cottage during a family vacation in the Derbyshire area. Robin is very quick to answer any question and incredibly helpful. The cottage is gorgeous, clean and inviting. We would definitely recommend Clover Cottage to anyone looking for a quiet countryside get-away.

Robins cottage is in a lovely village. Pub on the doorstep, which was good as a lovely evening. Robins instructions were clear and he kept me posted throughout. Nice and comfy and clean.

We had a great 2 nights in Robin’s place, comfortable and central for the village. We could easily have cooked proper meals but the local hostelry provides a wonderful ‘takeaway’ service on Friday and Saturday nights, guess when we were there!? You need to book your slot then call in, ring or email your order and either pay by BACS or on collection. Fully recommend the Fish and Chips and Fish Pie, the latter comes in an oven proof dish which you return to the porch of the pub. Also recommended is the Chicken Tikka Masala and Chilli Beef. So get along to The Bowling Green, just a 2 minute walk…. The house is comfortable to relax in, we spent the morning following The Winster Map of buildings points of interest around the village… Map available at the fabulous Village Store & PO…. Do use this Community Shop, it’s so good. :-) There’s also an occasional Church Cafe, inside the church.
