Beautiful location and home, excellent views and amenities. We loved being away from the business of Queenstown, and close to deer and mountains! Felt like home to me as a rural girl (but with better bath views). Suzanne was flexible communicative and accommodating.

This is our second time staying at this beautiful villa. That should be enough to let you know what a special place it holds in our hearts as well as its dear owner Suzanne! Words do not describe the beauty of this property with its deer, ponds, architecture, and flora/fauna. We feel like we are visiting family friends and we will be back a third time no doubt! It is in a great location between Queenstown and Glenorchy. If you haven’t driven to Glenorchy, you haven’t lived. The beauty is drop dead gorgeous! Take Sue’s recommendations, they are always spot on!

It was wonderful ! The host was kind and everything else especially the scenery around there and hiking courses were perfect :) I just want to come againg next time!

Beautiful property & landscape. Stayed in Punatapu Suite, then 2-bedroom apartment. Host Sue kindly stored our bags while we walked Milford Track. Stunning 15-minute drive out makes up for remote location. Unfortunately we’d booked for the spa pool (extra cost now - not stated last year). Asked why it wasn’t hot - “not in use due to cost”. Requested it to be turned on for our party of 4 after the challenging 55km Milford Sound hike, offering to pay for electricity. No response until after hike - “it’s turned on - $200”. Me “please turn it off - not willing to pay that.” Sue then didn’t speak to me for the next 4 days, though we didn’t let it spoil our stay & had a great time. On day 1, Sue gave me restaurant recommendations - The Nest, & Manure Room@Ayrburn – both fabulous. Won’t stay here again but would recommend if you’re not needing a friendly hosting experience – it felt from the get-go that Sue took a dislike to me (other reviews are glowing!) or is well over the hosting role.

This is our second time at Sue’s Amazing place!! I can’t say enough about this peaceful, lovely tranquil home!! The grounds are breathtaking! Sue is always available if you need anything. I miss it already!! Thank you for a wonderful stay 🥰
