It was such a bad overall experience we had to check out early and get a refund. During our stay of 5 days we encountered several kinds of pests. There were big cockroaches in the kitchen which was already not a great sign. Additionally, there were lots of local wasps having their nest season. Due to the poor build quality of the balcony door, every day we found 5-10 wasps inside the apartment and several were also building a nest right outside. When we raised it with the host he just said it's part of life here on the island which is not an excuse of having them inside the house. Host gave us insect repellant which we had to use multiple times per day which is a very toxic thing to breathe on a daily basis. There was no communication from the host right before the morning on the check in day. We had to contact the Airbnb support just to figure out if they are waiting for us or not. During the stay he was replying quite quickly but wasn't very helpful.

Amazing location in Mauritius for activities close and far. Big place, was perfect for a group. Nicolas was super helpful and friendly. Amenities in the apartment available for a longer stay, very comfortable
