Beautiful area and comfy cottages

Place is described exactly as Vic says. The small bathroom will be an issue for someone over 6' tall. There is only one dresser, but there are plenty of hangers and places to hang things. The sunsets are fantastic. We got very acclimated to the place very quickly. It was enjoyable sitting on the deck and watching the world go by very slowly. Lots of birds were around on the lake and nearby. Visiting Montezuma National Wildlife Refuge is a must. The Aurora Inn walk was great and the Aurora farmers market is fun. Enjoy !!

We loved our long weekend at the Cottage. The lake was beautiful, perfect amount of space for 2. We visited many close by wineries. Close to good restaurants and options for bat tours nearby!

My wife and I had an unbelievable time at Vic’s cottage on the lake. It was a perfect retreat for us. A private oasis with a gorgeous lakefront! I have a little fishing boat. The space was able to accommodate my boat and gear and there was a ramp 3 miles away in Union Springs. It made it so easy to get out on the lake for some fishing! I also used their kayak to do a little fishing around the docks close to the cottage. So much fun! They gave us great recommendations on places to eat and get a cold beer. I couldn’t imagine a better experience. Vic’s place was perfect for us!

Absolutely gorgeous spot! The cabin is charming and peaceful. Vic was also very responsive & friendly in our communications. Each morning we watched the blue heron who lives close by fly across the lake. Also saw ospreys, eagles and geese. The deck is a dream! The cabin is comfortable, and well-equipped. My 6’4” husband is limber & not afraid of small spaces, so the small bathroom was no trouble for him. Hoping to find time to stay there again in the future!
