We enjoyed our stay at Blue Haven. It’s a beautiful location with lots to do nearby. We took advantage of the hot tub everyday.

What a view! Perfect spot for us to hang our heads at night and attend the wilderness trainings at NOC. The hot tub eased sore muscles after hikes. And the gas fireplace was lovely… especially during the rainy evenings. Enjoyed every morning and evening on the deck in full view of the mountain ranges. We hope to return!

Very peaceful and private. My daughter enjoyed drinking her morning coffee on the deck wrapped in a blanket. The hot tub felt great after a day of hiking. We turned out all the lights and the stars were bright. Able to see the constellations. Wish we had brought our star chart book. Fire starter provided helped to light the fire (you provide firewood). Easy drive 15 min to Bryson City and 30 min Smoky Mountain National Park. Road up to the cabin is narrow and steep but we maneuvered fine in my daughter's Hyundai elantra. However would not want to do so in ice or snow. Arrived when dark which caused us to initially miss the turn to cabin driveway. Saw the Blue Haven sign but did not realize needed to go left of sign. Bed very comfortable. Loved the roomy shower. Gas fireplace really heated up the room. Kitchen sufficient for meal prep. The gas grill worked but needed attention which host responded they would check and take care of. I highly recommend staying here.
