Good food, great host and relaxing views - these sum up LazyCrazy. One of my favorite times during our stay was having my morning coffee by the garden and enjoy the amazing views of the mountain and rice fields. Then in the evenings, we make sure to be at the homestay during the family dinner with the hosts and guests, when we got to savor different Vietnamese dishes. After having our meal, we usually talked for a couple of hours or more and just got to know one another and share life experiences. One thing we didn't like that much was the short hike from the main road to homestay. Overall, I highly recommend this homestay for anyone who wants a place that is peaceful, surrounded by nature's beauty and warm and friendly people.

There are no words to describe this place, you have to experience it to understand! Ive never experienced anything like it before, pure bliss. John and his family are the loveliest, kindest people ever and make you feel so at home. If you are thinking about booking lazycrazy, do it!
Los anfitriones son una maravilla. Atentos y auténticos. Las cenas fueron especialmente agradables y divertidas. Las cabañas sobre el río muy bonitas y acogedoras.
John and Tam were wonderful hosts. I felt like apart of their family right from the start. They were so helpful and even helped me with planning my travels around Vietnam. The food served here is amazing. So delicious. I miss their home cooked meals already. They also have a bar at the bottom of the hill to hang out at and sit by a nice fire. The weather was cold but my bed had a very warm heater blanket. Their home stay is located in the village and is very quiet with a beautiful and peaceful view. I would recommend staying here instead of busy Sapa town. Well worth it to experience the mountains in a more local way. I will be definitely planning a trip back to visit John and Tam in their home stay. I had a wonderful experience. Thank you Lazy crazy!

Come together like a stranger, a friend, a guider of each other, a family member , a lover; we build a companionship, a fellowship, a crew of dreamers.... John, the crazy owner, is a wanderer coming all over Vietnam by bicycle for one whole year. Then he felt in love with Sapa - the best place where heaven, sky and human meet up at once. With the guitar and lots of positive energy, he always make silly jokes with everyone and bring the laugh to people around, sometime he's quite too. He loves cooking and gardening. He built every little corner of our home by his hands and love. He's the man and also the kid of our home. Beat him on Catan and playing pool :D Moon and Duy is a local married couple - preparing good food for the whole family and taking care of our home with full of love! They're our helper but also our family member. We're family! You might find them shy because they are local and afraid to speak English, but please feel free to help them like a friend if you would love too. They are beautiful hearts that bring us love and joy here. The house is full of people come and go, we have musicians who just suddenly step to the house and stay for 2 3 month ; we have friends who just come to have chance for learning English, dogs and cats and chicken neighbors is all around waiting for foods; bugs, spides r and mosquito also .... We are dreamers, live our life in our own way, cherish the life and celebrate it every single day, with music, art, great food, great company and the way we live with the best of us. We are building a home for all friends to come and celebrate the wonderful life with us, a family. When you come here and love it, you're a part of our family already :D Let's make our family bigger and bigger. So, be friend not a guest, be with our Lazycrazy family :D
