We have spent an amazing month in this wonderful house! Stavros and his wife met us with smiles and a lot of fresh fruits, raki, yoghurts for our kids, cookies and delicious jams, made by Stavros' mother, which was very kind. They showed us around the place, answered our questions. The house by itself is absolutely new and was very clean ( which is not a rule for all the hosts unfortunately). House isn't very big ( we knew it from the pics), but absolutely enough for our family of 3 adults and 2 children (moreover it could accept more people), very nice and well equipped for our stay( washing and dishwashing machines, irons, hair dryers, very good aircondition in every room, etc). It has all the right amenities, including some toys for young children, beach towels and a sun umbrella. The beds r very comfy, as i have problems with my back, this is an important moment for me( thank you for the good mattresses choice!). Kitchen had everything we need for our everyday cooking. We really enjoyed our family evenings on the terrace and back yard. Stavros kindly allowed us to rip off few lemons from the lemon tree in the garden, so we had the most fresh lemon juice in our dishes)) The left part of the closest beach ( 2-3 mins) is very suitable for the little children and seniors-no waves at all, no rocks, sand and clean very warm shallow water. A lot of fish in the sea that you can easily see! If you will rent a car, you may see real jewels of Crete-Balos lagoon, Falassarna, Marathis, Loutraki, Stavros, Seitan Limania, Karavostasi beaches. Thanks to the great location of the house, all of them r quite close. Stavros and his family are extremely hospitable and very friendly people, answered my hundreds of questions during our stay very fast and gave many helpful advices. We have met Stavros' and Kostis' father in Chania, which was a real pleasure. Very kind benevolent man. And he gave us a big discount in his optical store. Stavros with his wife and father came to say goodbye at the end of our vacation, interested if we like everything, did we have any problems and presented us some Cretan souvenirs again. Since it was my first time traveling to Greece with small children, i did a lot of research before booking Kostis’s house. After several weeks of researching, reading numerous reviews, we finally booked Kostis’ house. To summarize our feedback, this house and its location were beyond our expectations. Below you can find more details which might help you with your choice. 1. Customer service: The owners (two brothers) are great at customer service. Kostis were answering my numerous questions very fast despite the time difference. He was very helpful with all pre- arrival information as well as helping us during our stay with some extra requests. Second brother, Stavros was super hospitable and personally greatest us with his wife and father upon arrival. 2. Extra touches: We were pleasantly surprised to see a great home made meal and desert waiting for us at the table upon arrival. 3. The house location: We absolutely loved house location and our beach. Even after traveling to different famous beaches and towns, we were still convinced that our beach( golden beach) was the best for vacation with small children. This house is literally crossed the road from the beach! The bus stop for Chania downtown is right in front of our personal driveway. We also loved the fact that we were close to the beautiful hotel “forum suites”. This hotel has a fantastic restaurant, children playground and 24 hour convenience store in case we needed water or anything other supplies. I also would like to mention that there are 3 beautiful beaches, many taverns and big grocery stores only within 15 min walk. Since we had a bus stop in front of our house, all stores and beaches within walking distance we did not even need to rent a car. 3. House overview: the owners did an amazing job with house renovation. Both interior and exterior designs are very stylish and modern. House has everything you need for comfortable stay including beautiful indoor and outdoor space and all supplies. Spacious and well equipped front and backyards make this house suitable and comfortable for a big family. 4. Clearness: modern, clean and well equipped kitchen. Clean and functional two bathrooms and laundry room. We were provided with extra sets of bed sheets and towels. 5. AC system was brand new and were able to adjust temperature easily and cool the house within few minutes. We wish our hosts the best with future guests and very thankful for wonderful and comfortable stay.

Beautiful house, 2 minutes walk from the wonderful Golden beach, with shallow, warm and calm waters. The house is modern and fully equipped, in a very quiet spot, comfortable and welcoming back garden and front patio. It has two WC and showers, which comes very handy when getting ready to go out. Also, generous storing place even for the heavy traveller. Air condition in all three rooms with separate control made our stay during very hot days very pleasant. The kitchen had everything we needed, although we didn’t cook much, we could have. The host was very attentive, we arrived very early in the morning and they had flexible check in times. They welcomed us with freshly brewed coffee, cheese pies, fruits, sweets, two large platers of sandwiches and other goodies in the fridge. Much appreciated after a long trip there. The area was amazing, I could live there for ever. Parking is not easy as the beach is popular, but we had our own parking which could fit three cars, so no problem. It takes only 15 minutes by car to Chania. The bus to the centre of Chania and to the popular area of Ag. Marina was passing just outside the house. You can also go to Chania cycling or waking via a back street to avoid traffic. A very pleasant route, which I recommend. Super markets, beach bars and restaurants in the proximity made things easier on the days that we stayed in the area. It is ideally located for a quiet or a party holiday, for families or singles, with or without kids, young and elder. It is also ideal as a base to start your excursions to other areas of Chania, such as Ballos, Falassarna, Elafonisi, Sfakia. Your feedback is private until they review you too Airbnb
