Beautiful house! Very comfortable beds and lots of space for a family to relax after a day of sightseeing. The house was pristine and cleaning and towels change was done mid stay. Everything was within walking distance with great restaurants and shopping on the doorstep. The courtyard in the centre of the house was a great feature. The only downside was the constant noise from traffic, passersby and buskers which could be heard very clearly in the two bedrooms on the street side - the price you pay for being central. Evelyn and Paul were super fast in responding to messages and extremely helpful in organizing a taxi van from and to the airport. Super hosts!

Best location in Athens, the house is right on the prettiest street of Athens, full of beautiful narrow alleys and stairs turned cozy restaurants. All main attractions are walking distance we did not need to use any kind of transportation. We had traditional Greek musicians playing across the street which we found lovely, they did not stay too late and added a magical touch to the whole experience. The house is pretty big and the architecture and stone floors very well suited for the hot months, for us was a bit chilly at the end of march but nothing that fluffy socks couldn’t fix! Beautiful stay!!

We (a family of 5, including a small child) stayed at Evelyn’s place for four nights. The place is extremely well located in the heart of Plaka, with a huge number of restaurants around. Acropolis Museum is 5 min walking. The host helped us book transportation from the airport and waited for us in front of the house. She showed us around and even helped with the bags. She sent us links to a lot of restaurants and supermarkets anround and was helpful with planning the trip to Hydra. The house is exactly as in the photos. Everything was extremely clean. And we had supply of coffee left for us. The house has a pretty little courtyard in the middle, which we effectively used as a living room. The beds were super comfortable. Despite lively nightlife there was no noise in the bedrooms and we had a good night sleep every night. It was an excellent stay at a beautiful house with an excellent host.

Perfect location! Right by the Acropolis with fantastic restaurants and shopping right at the doorstep! Most historic sights are walkable. The big downside was the noise. The windows are not insulated- you can hear all of the street noise in the front two bedrooms. There was a musician sitting on a doorstep nearby playing until past midnight on three of the nights we were there. Between him and the noise from people and vehicles, we barely got much sleep until 1 or 2 am on the weekend. It is quieter on weekdays. The linen provided was also not great- a few towels were frayed. It is great that the place is cleaned every three days.
