This is the worst airbnb i ever stayed. The place smelled. The bathrooms were dirty. They tried to charge for using silverwear. And a little bit of gas. I communicated with the host vía WhatsApp but that was a mistake because i asked about reimbursement and she said that was not possible but clearly airbnb did offer reimbursement and i did not act on it. Which is my falt. The travel agency she also recommened Suny travel tour. Also was bad and left us at lunch causing our food to be late. And significant stress for my girlfriend. Some of the showers were dirty as well . Do not come here. The place has poor privacy . And curtains that were advertised were not there. I could probably write more negative things about this place but this should suffice in detering people from ever staying here.

Great neighborhood location, close to huacachina. Danixa and her family will welcome you with open arms and offer suggestions on what to do or where to eat. They allowed us to check in early after an overnight bus ride. Hot shower and ample space.

For a last minute reservation, Danixa’s place was just the location we needed to end our trip in Peru on a good note. Of all the hostels and Airbnb’s we stayed at while in Peru, Danixa’s place had the best WiFi and showers. Not to mention her and her family were absolutely splendid. They made sure we had everything we needed and were comfortable. We were a group of 7 people separated into 2 rooms. The rooms were a mix of twin beds and bunk beds. Danixa and her husband were VERY KIND to offer transportation to Huacachina and a tour of the town of Ica for an affordable price. They wanted to make sure that we felt safe and accommodated and we definitely did. During our stay, we had an accident with a bottle of Pisco breaking in our luggage and Danixa went above and beyond to help us with the situation. I have never been treated so well by someone who barely knows us. I definitely would recommend this stay for any large groups of families. It’s located conveniently 10 min drive away from the Sand Dunes and Huacachina. Hope to return soon :)
