Eva’s place was the perfect location if you’re hiking Oeschinensee Lake. The beginning of the path is literally just across the street. The place itself is a nice chalet with everything you need. Both rooms were spacious and the place nice and cozy. One of the bathrooms only has a tub with no shower curtain. So unless you want to take a bath, there was only one shower for four of us. Check in was easy. Also, the hotel located in front of the chalet was nice enough to let us check our bags as we wanted to check out the lake again the day of our checkout. Would recommend Eva’s chalet!

Logement encore plus joli que sur les photos, et vraiment parfaitement bien situé. A deux pas du téléphérique pour le lac. Le balcon avec vue est très agréable. Le logement a toutes les commodités, draps et serviettes fournis ce qui est super. Il y avait des essentiels de cuisine comme sel, sucre, épices. Le seul petit point négatif est le Wifi qui ne marche pas, mais nous avons réussi à nous connecter à celui de l’hôtel à côté. Nous avons passé un super séjour.

A comfortable Airbnb centrally located in an area we very much love! The Airbnb matches the listing photos and Eva was super quick to respond to any questions we had. This Airbnb is in a great spot to go and explore.

We found it a little tricky to actually find the apartment. I messaged Eva to ask was it in the building behind the Hotel Bernehof and she replied immediately but the building doesn't have a name and there is more than one behind the hotel! Once inside the block we made an educated guess that the apartment is on the top floor from the internal photos but it would be better if this was made clearer for folk arriving late. The flat itself is comfortable. Old fashioned but clean and quiet and the beds were comfortable. Our son loved the bed on the ledge. We'd have liked a kettle (English, tea!) but there is a coffee maker. We didn't cook so can't comment on cooking equipment. Wifi was a little iffy but that wasn't a big issue. Best thing for us was the views and the proximity to Oschinensee which was astoundingly beautiful even in mixed weather. Take your swimsuit- you'll be tempted. Local restaurants nice but v pricey. Good meal and lovely service at Hotel Ritter. Would stay again.
