Overall, great place to stay: quiet, peaceful, refreshing. The listing is accurate, so you should have a good idea of what to expect, and the hosts are very responsive if you have any other questions. One small thing to note which we were wondering about before our stay: there is a walking path along the river (which is basically right outside the house), which is great except it's short and doesn't connect anywhere. Looked like there was some construction that may eventually complete and make the path longer. But walking through the neighborhood and surrounding ones was surprisingly pleasant, especially since they had a lot of small parks throughout!

We stayed at Sharon and Rick’s house for two months while selling our house and buying a house and really enjoyed our stay. First of all, Sharon and Rick are wonderful hosts who want people staying at their house to be happy and enjoy the stay. For example, my wife and I, sometimes our son, all had to use Internet for work and we were experiencing some occasional problems: Rick immediately contacted the Internet service provider and upgraded the speed: after that we had no problem even with the simultaneous use. This just exemplifies their hosting practice: they are highly considerate, responsive, and communication is super quick. Second, the house is very spacious, well equipped (e.g., kitchen and bathrooms), and clean. Third, the location is great. It is in front of a river and has a nice view. It is next to a small park. We took a lot of walk (e.g., to the downtown Petaluma) and enjoyed. We found Petaluma‘a restaurants are really great. Petaluma also has many grocery stores and other shops including a great bakery, coffee shops and ice cream shops. In summary, their house was an ideal place for us and we really appreciated Sharon and Rick’s hospitality. Thank you, Sharon and Rick!!

Just about anything you would want from an exceptional Airbnb experience: wonderful, welcoming hosts, a clean, quiet room on the river you would find at a boutique hotel. In case you have an EV you will be blessed by Rick's supportiveness in helping to safe the planet. Two enthusiastic thumps up from someone who is not easily pleased!

Sharon and Rick are super kind and warm hosts. Very accommodating. Their house was comfortable and in a quiet neighborhood just a mile from quaint downtown Petaluma. I had a great stay!
