Our stay at Anakulam offered a tranquil retreat with great privacy, complemented by hospitable hosts. While the rooms and bathroom were clean, the kitchen area could use some improvements. It's important to note that Anakulam is quite remote with limited food options, ideal for nature enthusiasts seeking an escape from the everyday noise. Additionally, be prepared for the journey as the roads to the place are not the most accessible, requiring navigation through narrow and steep lanes.

This property is very close to the elephant viewing point may be less than 5 mins drive. we saw around 25+ elephant starting from evening 6 to night 10. U can anytime go to see the elephant. caretaker anoop will inform us when ever the elephant comes. coming to the property it is better than the photos. we can reach the river buy just walking a min. lot of birds in the morning. they have facilities like bbq and campfire as well. food will be arranged by Mr. anoop. you can also opt for a 2 to 3 hrs offroading safari which will be organised by the caretaker and also u can bath in waterfalls, 33 waterfalls is one of the best. if you come to anakulam, u can definitely visit this property.

I stayed there for 2 nights at this place. The place was located interior and it was peaceful. I can say overall the stay is Okay! Good for friends group. But the property is hard to reach (maybe due to some bridge works) but we good good response from the host on locating the property. And please ensure you reach the property before sunset Pros: 1. Nice location (But suitable only on summer and winters, not on rainy days) 2. Good locality and people 3. Very responsive host Cons: 1. No proper cleaning of the property by caretaker 2. Stay not suitable for rainy seasons. It's hard to reach this place and there will be more leaches. 3. Kitchen is maintained very bad. No proper cleaning of utensils

We stayed as a family (6 adults and two kids). Over all it was a good experience staying in this place. Rooms are clean and had complete privacy. Even though it is in the foot hill (between two mountains) and also near the forest river with bumpy roads to the property, we felt very safe. My mobile (Airtel) didn’t had coverage in this area but Didn’t felt the need for it. Food and jungle safari is arranged by Jobin and his care taker. I appreciate their hospitality and care. I will strongly recommend this place if you are looking for great experience in the forest.
