The description for the apartment explained that the apartment had a Shabbos elevator. In the end, the Shabbos elevator was not activated. The apartment is on the seventh floor, so we never would have rented the apartment if we knew there was not going to be a Shabbos elevator. Additionally, the doors to the building require a code to open them, so we had to wait outside until a person came out before we could come in. The property manager was responsive and helpful throughout our stay and knew on Friday that we were relying on the evevator and doors to be Shabbos friendly. I believe that they can fix these issues, but until they can ensure that the elevator and building doors be adjusted for Shabbat observant people, they should remove that description from the advertisement.

The apartment is situated practically on the beach. It is well planned, with 4 bedrooms and 2.5 baths. The kitchen is spacious and has a ton of amenities (from coffee machine to a Foreman grill) and storage. The washing machine allows one to wash the bathing suits and towels after spending time at the beach, and there is a convenient place to hang the laundry. The balcony / porch is spacious to the point of having a big table that 8 can sit next to it comfortably (we took almost all our meals there), as well as more space for lounging chairs and such. The view of the marina and the beach is beautiful and very calming. They do have private parking and the key to it is in the apartment, but parking in this area is free, so one can park on the street if needed. We enjoyed the beach which is clean and not too busy (even on the weekend), and the many playgrounds around. If you are into museums and shows - it is all in walking distance from the apartment. In short - it was a lovely stay.
