Not long returned from a lovely week away at Mr Harvison's and already can'twait to return! The cottage is beautiful and exactly as shown/described. Was a bonus to find that there is a washing mchine and dryer at the property too! The fire in the snug was out of use sadly, but did not detract from our stay. Wheelwrights were the perfect hosts, easy to communicate with and always friendly. Cannot wait to return in future

We all really enjoyed our stay, A Charming Cottage with lovely bedrooms and best of all the log fire for winters evenings, two en suites and a lovely stand alone bath in the house bathroom, Very warm heating and water temperature great Location is ideal 2 minutes to all shops, pubs and restaurants of Ambleside Would happily return again.

This house is in the most perfect location for all of the amenities that Ambleside has to offer. The butcher which was just 4 metres from the front door was a huge hit with our group. As well as some proper pubs, shops, grocery stores and plenty of walks nearby. The house was faultless in terms of cleanliness and cosiness! A lovely fire which we made use of for our November stay. It was equipped with everything you could need for a comfortable home away from home; comfy beds, kitchen and utensils, and the most amazing bath tub! Just what we needed after a long, chilly walk in the Lakes. There was even a cute little patio that we would definitely make use of in the summer months. The host was 100% accommodating and responsive with every single request. I would definitely recommend staying here and we would come back in a heartbeat. 5 stars!
