Great host and nice place. Asiri picked me up from the airport and dropped me off at the train and gave me tips and advice for traveling, also helped me with currency exchange. His wife cooked an amazing Sri Lankan breakfast and they were a pleasure to hang out with and talk to.

This is the second time I stayed here, once at the beginning of my trip and then again at the end, in the upstairs of the house which is 4 separate private rooms they rent out for short and long term stays. There is a water filter and tea and coffee making table right outside the room and very good lock on your bedroom door. The house is very quiet and the hosts are lovely, and give you full privacy and are not invasive at all. Inside the house, I rarely crossed their path as I always go to bed early. But if you have a request, they are very happy to help and are extremely communicative via WhatsApp with many helpful and friendly messages. You can pay Asiri a driver's fee and he will do airport pick up and drop off, which was so very helpful to me. Also, we had a conversation about aged people and the offer was made for me to visit an aged care group which I excitedly accepted. Asiri's wife arranged this for my last night, and I have to say, it was an absolutely incredible experience. Thank you so much for organising this amazing experience for me. Asiri and his wife are a beautiful trust worthy married couple.

The stay was a little different than I expected but that is the case with my entire time in Sri Lanka. It all adds to a unique amazing experience. My hosts went above and beyond to help and support me. Rescuing me via WhatsApp when I got myself in a pickle traveling on my own. The house is actually 2 stories with Asiri and his wife living downstairs and upstairs rooms rented out for long and short term use. Everyone was so quiet. But Asiri and his wife were always available when I flicked them a message and their helpfulness cannot overstated. I loved the very strong lock on my bedroom door as I am a solo female traveller and quite anxious to be on my own. I am looking forward to staying here again at the end of my holiday.

I enjoyed my week long stay here. Peaceful n quiet neighborhood n amazing hosts. Clean n comfortable room. Close to shops n restaurants. Cab/tuk tuk are easily available in the area. Looking forward to come back again.
