We enjoyed our stay at Bay View cottage. the cottage was lovely, with 3 different outdoor seating areas which meant it was usually possible to sit out of the wind. the cottage was brilliantly furnished with great decor and art, it had a very cool, quirky feel. The location is great with about three quarters of a mile walk down to the village which has a couple of nice pubs, a very busy fish and chips shop, small supermarket and a fantastic bakery. Behind the cottage is a small field which is easily viewable from the rear windows of the cottage, and which we enjoyed watching the cows, sheep and rabbits doing their thing.

What a fantastic cottage! Thoughtfully and beautifully decorated, brilliant open living, dining and kitchen space and cosy bedrooms. The bathroom was luxurious and it was great to have a log fire on colder evenings. So good to experience such a luxurious and tasteful home rather than the usual and often basic holiday cottage. We had everything we needed and thoughtful additions like the digital radio and binoculars were a treat. The wifi was spot on too. It’s a great spot for relaxing and a brilliant base to explore the area either by car or on foot with lots of walks right from the doorstep. We loved seeing the cows and rabbits in the field behind and the amazing views over the bay. The cottage is very close behind another holiday house but we didn’t feel overlooked at all. Would definitely recommend and we hope to visit again.

A great place in a beautiful location. Just a 10 minute walk to the beach, pubs and most importantly for the kids the ice cream shop. We had a lovely stay at David’s, it is as described, all the bits you need in the kitchen and great comfy beds! The only addition we’d have liked would be a blind on the velux window in the main bedroom, even with an eye mask it was rather bright at sunrise and in August that was rather early. Other than that a fantastic place.
