Hi Everyone, I am a British gal who lived for five years in New York City. I stayed in a gorgeous little walk-up, in a vibrant part of town - the Lower East Side (Followed by a great time on the Upper West Side). I was very close to subways, wholefoods, amazing coffee shops and bars - the important stuff. My Lovely apartment in a great part of Central London (Bloomsbury) is a version of the NYC experience; close to waitrose, the fabulous Curzen cinema, 3 tube stations (Subway, if you're American!) , coffee shops, museums, bars - the important stuff. Also a wondefrful place to stay is the very cute Seaside Studio in Brighton on the South Coast of England . Do take a peek at both listings in case you'd like to mix your stay with city snd sea! I am currently a Painter but for a long period I was a theatre director with a company that I'd been establishing in New York as well as the UK. I was granted a fancy visa for the US to do this - It was a very exciting time. I loved training actors & devising shows. I'm a great lover of all of the arts. I was often out an' about when in London & NY, seeing theatre and supporting my friends in their various endeavours. Now -I'm a a bit quieter as an artist (Learning Swedish ! - my nephew is half-Swede) in sometimes sunny/always dramtic Brighton. I enjoy the comforts of home; gorgeous friends, lovely food and a clean, charming, living environment with lots of light and interesting views from my window. Both the spaces I list are all these things... .easy to get to places from - and easy to return home to ! My 'little' (I describe it as small, yet spacious) apartment in Bloomsbury (Which has a London/NY vibe ) has brought me & so many guests so many happy times. My Sweet Seaside Studio is a light, fresh and relaxing place to be.. cosy and comfortable with everything you need so close by! I pride myself on comfort for guests; that feeling of being at home ! It's your home from home ! I hope you will love the spaces as much as we do. Both myself and the lovely Edward, Gergo, Aniko, Rene and Maria (who assist in London and Brighton) will do all that we can to make you feel comfortable and cosy! We are 'people' people!!
